Friends

This month I gave away two keys.
First was a silver bracelet with the word Believe. I got lunch with a friend, Christina, who I hadn't seen in a while and she is one of the greatest women I have ever met. She is one of those girls that you technically should be jealous of but I love her so much that it isn't even an option. She is stunningly beautiful without even trying, she has a heart way too big for her petite little body, and her laugh could end wars. I am honored to call her one of my best friends and my only wish for her is that she can Believe in herself the way that everybody around her believes in her. She is going to live a beautiful life. She has faced a lot and has come across a lot of challenges but her strength doesn't surprise me one bit. I know that when she puts her mind to something, she can accomplish so much more than anyone else I know. I can't wait to see where our friendship grows.

The second key I gave away was the very first one I ever got and it holds a special place in my heart because I bought it from Caitlin herself. This key has the word Grace on it which is a quality I strive to contain every day that I wake up. I've carried this key with me for almost 3 years and I finally knew I had to give it up. My youth minister at my church is named Gabi and she is my role model, my hero, and one of my greatest friends. She is such a blessing to me and the church I volunteer at and I don't know what my life would be like without her. She carries so much Grace everywhere she goes and her heart is full of pure love for the Lord. I want to be a youth minister when I'm through with school and I can only hope that I am half the lady she is. Knowing her she would try to deny everything I just wrote but I couldn't make this up. She shines the light of our Lord from the inside out and it lights up every room she walks in. It was clear that this is who I must give away my treasured key to because I no longer needed the reminder around my neck once I received Gabi to walk with on this journey.

Both of these ladies have changed me for the better and I'm so excited to see
