Be Brave For Him

My wonderful chorus and theatre director had a child in March 2016. They knew the baby would have a hole in his heart, but more complications came up after an early delivery. After 4 months of fighting, their little "Ironmam" went to be with the One True King. I passed my Brave Necklace on to his wife last night at the visitation for their son. I felt I had achieved mine weeks before, but was looking for the perfect person to Pay It Forward to, and I did.

I received a message from her this morning saying how much the word itself meant to her. Her husband, my teacher, has been telling her to "Be brave for him". The word hit close to home for her.

RIP to a true superhero, "Ironman".
