Misty Eyed

In May of 2013 I was riding my 84 Nighthawk home when a cab ran a light. I almost lost my life. I was in a wheelchair. Mom had to move in and take care of me. 8 months later I was well enough to return to work part time and the joke became I was bionic..... that was my word.

I now do stunts for film and tv and I bartend. I was behind the bar a few weeks ago when a very petite lady sat in front of me. Wearing a Chanel power suit and an impressive attitude she told me her story. Marriage, a huge career, kids, a complete change of career only to be equally successful.

As a strong woman, I'm not easily humbled. This woman had me. I told her the story of my key and she got a little misty eyed. I knew it was time to pass it on.
