More In Love Than Before

In 2013 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. Before I was diagnosed my husband decided he didn't want to be married to me and left me and my four children.

After being diagnosed he promised to be there for me through my treatment. He attended every doctor's appointment, my surgeries, and my chemo and radiation. While going through chemo he decided to move out. My 15 year old son then had to become my caretaker while he was living in his new home.

Christmas of 2014 he gave me my key and on it said "Courage". He felt I needed courage to go on. The key gave me the strength to carry on and hope he would change his mind. In April of 2015 he returned home and we are more in love than we were before.

I have wore my key everyday through my illness.
