My 4 year old daughter has been battling cancer since October 2014. She was diagnosed, treated and right when we thought we were done it popped back up. She is currently undergoing intense chemo and the last scan was clear, thank God.
During this time I have become close with another family whose 15 year old son has been battling cancer for the last year. Since February they have been getting bad news and this week they got the worst news. The cancer is back and not responding to any of the 3 previous courses of treatment they have tried. The outlook is very bleak for this child.
Someone recently gave me the "STRENGTH" key and while I still need a lot of strength, the mother of that child needs it more right now. I passed my key to her as soon as I learned his cancer was back.
