Ashley is first, a mother and wife. Ashley moved to Georgia from California years ago, met her husband Lawrence, and started a family. She worked as a real estate assistant and decided that she wanted to make selling real estate a career. This is how I met her.
I remember this cute and bubbly young lady coming into the office with the confidence of someone beyond her years. This is a compliment, because she uses her energy in such a positive way. As a new agent, she was anxious to learn, and devoted to make this her long time career. She networked with other agents, asked questions, and she started writing offers!
Being her broker, she and I had several conversations about how she finally felt like she found what she wanted to do and that our office was where she wanted to be. She always has a smile and a positive word, no matter the situation. There were many days that she changed my attitude to the better!
She came to me in August of this year, very emotional. Her husband, Lawrence was also a very hard worker, and his job required him to be out of town 5 days a week, and with two small children, one with special needs, they made a decision for their beautiful family, to move back to California to be closer to her family, and for other job opportunities for her husband.
So, today, October 27, 2017, our office is having a surprise going away party for Ashley. Our theme for her is to take part of Georgia back with her. I knew right away what gift I wanted to give. My INSPIRE key. Because she does in so many ways. In her short time with our office, and being in the business for over 30 years, I have never met anyone like her. I know she will do big things, and inspire many along the way. It is with every word written here that I know that the best is yet to come for her. I hope that one day, Ashley, that you can pay it forward.
