Not The Word I Wanted
After my divorce and everything that happened after, I gave up on love. I saw a friend of mine wearing a key with a powerful word on it and after she explained what it was, I wanted one that said "brave". The following week, she surprised me with a gift. She said that even though it is not the word I wanted, she felt "love" was the one I needed. She said I shouldn't give up on love because it is the most meaningful element in life. I wear my key everyday now because even though I gave up on love, I still believe in it.
