My daughter gave me the "strength " key for Christmas. I cannot begin to tell how much this gift touched my heart and soul.
These are the words she wrote in a card along with my giving key:
"I thank you for my strength, because there is no doubt that I got it from you.
I have watched you pull yourself out of negative situations and better yourself. Because of that, Renee and I are the people we have become.
Never forget the strength you have in you, and never doubt yourself!"
To know as a parent of an adult child (who is about to have her own child), that I have made such an impact makes my life full and happy.
One day I will be honored to pass this key on to another individual and hope that it touches others, as my child has touched me.
