Believing In What Is Yet to Come

On Christmas Eve 2012 I was given a "Believe" key from my cousin. It was given to her from a student. My cousin felt I needed it more than she did.

I lost my husband in a tragic accident in April of 2012. We were married only 9 months and he was 32 years old. After he passed away, my world turned upside down. I didn't care about or believe in anything anymore.

My life has been a journey since he passed and I definitely have my ups and downs. It has gotten better with the help of family, friends, and my amazing therapist. On the last day of 2013, I decided to give the "Believe" key to my friend. Unfortunately she lost her husband just this past November. I feel now she needs it more than I do.

I hope we can both truly believe that life gets better after going through such a traumatic experience. To truly believe means you have made it through the toughest time in your life and can only hope the best is yet to come.
