A friend had a giving key she was wearing and told me the story of the concept behind it. I thought it was such a cool idea,I went online and checked it out. I wanted to buy one for myself with the intent of giving it away when I felt someone needed it more. I was trying to decide which message I wanted and I picked STRENGTH. As I was checking out, it hit me. This was for my friend, Mary. I passed the key on to her without me ever wearing it.
You see, Mary has gone through a lot in the last couple of years. Her son died unexpectedly and now her husband is battling cancer. When I see her she is the pillar of strength but I know deep down she is having a tough time holding it together. Frankly, I am not sure how she does it. I hope she is able to find the strength to get through this.
