Walk By Faith

From living in a small town you see a lot of familiar faces. Some you know personally and some from just seeing occasionally. I had seen Brittany a few times at my daughters school and once at our local Mexican restaurant. Each time I had seen her it seemed that Macie (my daughter) was somewhere in the picture.

Macie came home from school and told me that Mrs. Brittany's husband had died in a car accident. Her teacher and Brittany were very good friends. Seeing the worry in my 7 year olds eyes was terrible. The innocence of my child as she talked daily about both Brittany and her teacher missing school made me feel as if I had known Brittany my whole life.

I have since read several of Brittany's blogs, and WOW is about all I can say. After just losing her husband so unexpectedly she still seemed to smile and keep going. Through the eyes of my innocent child Brittany became such a huge inspiration to me.

I decided on June 25, 2014 to purchase her a giving key and send to her along with a copy of my blog. The key I chose was "FAITH". One must have so much Faith to manage to go on after such tragedy. Giving this key was one of the best moments in my life and I hope that receiving it will be one of Brittany's as well! I will end my blog with 2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight
