Needing Strength

2 years ago when I was 23, I lost my first grandparent. Papa was the best man I have ever known and I love him so much. Losing him was the hardest thing I have ever dealt with. I purchased a giving key necklace with the word "Strength" on it...I needed strength just to make it through the day. Skip ahead to 2014...my favorite singer/inspiration Kesha entered rehab. I know it may seem silly, but I knew right away I wanted to give her my key. I knew she needed strength to deal with her inner demons. I wrote her a letter explaining the key and why I was giving it to her. To my surprise, she wrote back. She mentioned how something small like this restored her faith in people and just the fact I could give that to her made me so happy. I love Kesha no matter what people say and I just felt the need to give her my key and I know she appreciated it.
