As a MOPS mom, we were given keys that read COURAGE.
I'm giving my key today to a woman who has been a "mentor" to me in so many ways. She (for the last year) has been walking a difficult road with her daughter who just graduated from high school. In the past month, her daughter has hit rock bottom, including a stay in jail and health scare due to illegal substances. Throughout this whole year, I have watched her courageously walk alongside a daughter who is making choices she doesn't agree with. She walks with her in compassion and love. She walks with her in wisdom, as she chooses how and when to voice her concerns and disapproval.
The journey is barely beginning for my friend, it seems. I pray this key encourages her to keep walking bravely, with courage, because she is courageous!
