I am very intrigued by the Universe, Fate, and Love. The older I get, the more I feel that we all have a purpose, and it's very important for all of us to realize that by living life with gratitude and love, the world would truly be a better place. One of my closest friends, who also shares these insights, gave me a giving key for my birthday just this last September. I absolutely loved it, but thought how the heck am I ever going to be able to give this unique/special gift away?! My girlfriend told me that I will just know when it's time to pay it forward... that I'd feel it. I didn't think it would happen so quickly, but she was 100% right!
Sadly, another good friend of mine lost her father to an unexpected heart attack. I lost my father about 12 years ago, so I immediately felt her pain. After a few weeks, she agreed to meet up with me. This was the first I saw her since her loss. After a couple of hours of talking (and a few glasses of vino), I walked her to her car. We took a few selfies and then I felt the urge to pay it forward. I felt in my heart that she needed my giving key way more than I did, and in her state of mind, anything is helpful when it comes to regaining hope. My key was labeled DREAM, and I told her to continue holding the great memories of her father close to her heart, and continue to DREAM big. I told her that she now has an angel up above who will help guide her in the right direction to help her conquer her dreams. She was so touched, and finally cried when I gave her my key. It was such an amazing feeling to know that it made her feel a little bit better after such heartache. She texted me the next day letting me know that she plans on wearing her key close to her heart every day.
