Strength To Face Her Future

I have been in remission for eight years from Acute Myeloid Leukemia. One of my best friends was also diagnosed with AML almost two years ago. She has been so strong, so brave, enduring chemo this entire time, fighting against all the odds. She was chosen for a bone marrow transplant a few months ago but by the time they found a match, her leukemia was out of control. She passed away on Saturday leaving behind a sweet 21 year old daughter. I'm giving my Strength key to her so that she will be reminded of her mom's courage and tenacity every time she wears it and will, in turn, find the strength to face her future without her.
