"Grace" – The Giving Keys

"Grace"

I purchased a key inscribed with the word "Grace" with the thought of eventually giving it to my mother's friend, Grace. She is a great friend to my mother, and a wonderful help to many of the residents of the retirement community where they all live. She has also been very involved in the care and rehabilitation of her young daughter in law who suffered a stroke a year ago. She shows Love and Grace to those around her every day, so I gave my key to Grace!

  • I received a FAITH giving key after being diagnosed with cancer in October 2014. In February I gave the key to a friend, Renee King, as she had been diagnosed with a rare breast cancer. When I have it to her I prayed that she would keep her faith through the upcoming trials in her life. She is alive and well; after chemo and surgery, she is in remission. Praise the Lord for all the good things He does for us.
The same friend, Sarah Powers, that gave me the FAITH key, gave me a GRACE key in April 2015. I have been wearing that necklace and key to represent the grace we all must have after enduring surgeries with scars, body image changes, self-consciousness and no hair. That’s a biggue for women.
Today, my friend April Smth, is burning her grand-father, “Pappy” and a passed my Grace key on to her. Prayers that she will not mourn the loss of her Pappy, but celebrate his life on earth. He’s sitting at the feet of Jesus, as I write this. I know it’s hard. We are selfish. Prayers that she will GRACEfullly handle this trial and be strong for her Gram, other family members and her children.
    ?I love you, April……?

  • I received the key “Grateful” for my birthday. From my very best friend in the world. She knows how much my dad meant to me . Whom I lost over a year now. And the inspring words that not to be sad but grateful for the time I had with him. What a big heart she has. What a great gift.
