I Was Depressed And My Spirit Was Broken

I received my STRENGTH key from a dear friend from ages ago who never ceases to amaze me. I admire her in so many ways and when I received the bracelet, I shouldn't have been shocked at how thoughtful she is. I was struggling badly through double knee replacement surgery that did not go well. I was depressed and my spirit was broken. This gesture reminded me to not give up hope and it gave me the strength to work even harder than I already was.

Although I didn't have my key for long, it absolutely helped me over the hump I was stuck in. My PT numbers are increasing steadily and my spirit has been restored. Once I heard that one of my other friends father passed away, I knew it was time to pay it forward. Before his death, she was dealing with lots of other major family issues, so the timing couldn't have been worse. She is the most graceful person I know but she was definitely in need of some extra strength. So... I passed it on and pray that it helped her as it did me!
