Family And Friends

I received my key for Valentines Day from my daughter this year. I was very touched by the gift, and appreciated her thinking of me.

My key says "strength" and we have been through a lot as a family. My divorce from their father, his death, and my mom being placed in a nursing home were a few of the passages we went through together. I guess my strength through these times inspired my daughter to purchase and send the key to me.

I decided to pass my key along to one of my daughter's best friends, Jenna. She was diagnosed with several conditions, primarily Guillain Barre Syndrome, and has been in the hospital since Christmas time. Her strength and courage, her trust in Christ and reflecting that to others as she walks through this journey has been an inspiration to many.

I pray for her continued, speedy, full recovery and hope to see her out of the hospital soon. Jenna we love you and can't wait to see you soon!
