Bullying

I gave a key with the word “COURAGE” on it to one of my 4th grade students who has been bullied this year. I told her she didn’t have to wear it…that she could keep it in her bag or pocket if she wanted, and could then pass it on when she felt someone else needed it more than she did. I was happy to see her wearing it the next day. Hoping she feels strong enough not to need it in the future…so she can pass it on to someone else.
