One of my best friends gave me a Giving Key for my birthday that says “Laugh”, and it means more to me than words can express. I have been struggling with depression for the past few years and am currently coming out of my worst episode yet. Over the past few months the one thing my family and friends said they had missed the most was my laugh, since laughing is one of my favorite pastimes. I’m not sure how I will ever be able to part with such an amazing gift, but I know that when the time comes I probably won’t have to think about it.
