My neighbor's son Will was severely injured in a house fire. He initially had made it out of the home safely but reentered when a friend was unaccounted for. After realizing nobody was in the house it was too late, smoke and fire overcame him but he was able to make it half way out a first floor window and was pulled to safety by neighbors. Will suffered 3rd and 4th degree burns over 50% of his body. His legs have been amputated just below the knee. He has been in the intensive care burn unit for about 8 weeks, sedated most of the time in a coma-like state. There is no doubt that Will is a man of Courage. I bought a key engraved with the word Strength to give to Will. His family will hold on to it for him until he is able to wear it himself and someday in the future he will be able to pass it along to someone who needs it more than he. That will be an AWESOME day!
