My story is not one of triumph over tragedy...but one simply of TRYING.
My key was given to me at a women's symposium in New York that I attended with my mom. My key said, "dream". Just this past summer I achieved one of my ultimate dreams, completing an Ironman Triathlon. (You can read my blog on TeamBikeway.com). When thinking of a person to pass this onto, I kept coming back to my friend, Mindi. She is the sister in law of my brother's wife... are we related? Not really, but I have always felt a kinship with her. She does so much for her family and her community that I hope that she can reach for the stars and follow her own dreams.
