I purchased "Courage" for myself, because it is a word that has been very motivating/challenging to me over the past few years. It was a reminder of who I was; and a challenge to not let fear motivate my decisions. When one of the students in our youth group requested prayer for boldness in her life as she lives to honor Christ and love people in spite of the risk; I immediately thought of my necklace. I knew it was a good time to pass it on and I hope it will be a significant reminder to her as she grows and matures. I trust she will pass it on one day too!
