Abounding Courage

This past week, I went on a missions trip to Cincinnati, OH with the ministry that I am a part of, Adullam Youth Outreach. During one of the days that we were there, we partnered with a local church to do some street evangelism. Many amazing testimonies of miraculous healings, salvations, and people getting encouraged and loved on came out of that time!

But the testimony that I want to focus on happened before we left out that afternoon. One of the girls in our group was especially nervous about going out into the city and approaching strangers. Noticing this, I asked if she would like to wear my "COURAGE" key. Her face lit up and she excitedly accepted my offer. (I actually got this key last month for myself because I, too, found myself getting a little nervous when going to talk and pray with strangers.) When our group met back together a little later, she came to give it back to me. I asked her if she would like to keep it and she happily accepted. This was my first key to give away and I can't help but smile every time I see her wearing it.

On an ending note: I found myself walking in a boldness that day when praying with others that I had never experienced before. I pray that this key reminds her to pray for courage each day, and that she finds herself walking in abounding courage!
