Living Bravely
Today is Nancy's birthday!!! But also her chemo day. Nancy has been living with terminal, metastatic cancer since 2009, but rather than describing her as someone who is "fighting cancer" {which she is}, a more accurate description, is she is someone who is "LIVING BRAVELY" with cancer. Nancy is one of those special people who despite circumstances, sets her sights on living, loving, and sharing her life. She has shown me that the hard, dark places give opportunity to shine your light brighter. Nancy is a brave-hearted beauty, and I sent her a key for her birthday, so when she goes into chemo, or when she's lying down and feeling sick, she can grasp that key on her chest and remember how she has touched so many lives,-- and hopefully find inspiration to keep living and fighting for this beautiful life.
