Message of Hope
I purchased my key during October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My key says SURVIVE. I looked at my key often and now, 15+ months after finishing my chemo treatments, I consider myself a survivor. A few months ago my sister told me she had bladder cancer. She had surgery and all was well. A few weeks ago I got a call - she had lung cancer which had metastasized to her brain. She has had brain surgery and will be starting her chemo in a week. I want her to have my key as a message of hope that she, too, will one day be a survivor. With much love to my sister.
