I got a phone call at work saying my husband was being arrested for sexually assaulting our oldest daughter. I remember that day in emotions and nothing else. Shock, disbelief, unable to catch my breath, fear, anger, guilt, tears, screams, broken. Fast forward (except time ran painfully slow at times) to January 2015.....divorce, moving, graduation, birthdays, holidays, 2 trials, 9 charges - guilty. Again, fast forward to July 2015 and a friend talking about the job she loves, The Giving Keys. The first key said "STRENGTH"....polished silver but made from a worn skeleton key. The second, "FIGHT".....worn, tarnished but just as strong and fierce as the polished silver - exactly like my daughter.
