Be Bold About What You Believe
Today is my last day as the Chaplain of my sorority at Ole Miss. As my term came to a close, I knew that I wanted to find something that I could pass down to the next chaplain that would be special. When I heard about the giving keys, I knew that it would be perfect. I prayed a lot about which word to choose, and I chose "BOLD" because to me that's the epitome of being a believer in a group of girls where most are not. It means that you have to be Bold about what you believe and why. I have worn my key almost every day since I got it. Tonight, I will wear it one last time, and then I will pass it on to the next chaplain of my chapter as a reminder of the value of boldness. My hope is that it will continue to be passed down from chaplain to chaplain forever.
