From the time Kody was a child he has wanted to be a cop. He has always looked up to police officers. They are heroes not only to him, but to us all. When Kody is asked why he wants to be a cop, he simply smiles and says, "because I'll get to walk alongside my heroes every day." Right now, many applications have been sent, interviews have been successful, and he is waiting for graduation day from the Law Enforcement Recruit Academy.
I have never met someone with so much heart and determination to reach their dreams. He wants to work beside the heroes he sees with so much integrity. I gave Kody a key with the word "integrity," because I want him to remember the kind of man he is and the kind of hero he will be every day that he wears his badge. Congratulations Dakota!
