The Courage to See it Through

My daughter-in-Law, Stacey, gave me a "courage" key for Mother's Day.

I have been wearing it, knowing it will eventually be passed on. I am presenting it to my dear friend, Linda.

Linda had polio when she was a child and has been in a wheelchair for many years. She is the most courageous person I have had the pleasure to share a friendship with.

This past week was her 50th wedding anniversary celebration in Hawaii. Unfortunately, Linda developed pneumonia and is in the hospital. She has struggled with serious breathing issues but remains upbeat and hopeful as always. She deserves to wear the courage key and I am happy to pass it on to her.
