Last Saturday, September 14th, I lost one of my best friends in a car accident. I am as heartbroken now as I was then.
His mom always was the strong one. I never saw her not smiling or laughing and she always took such good care of us. Seeing her at her son's funeral was heart-wrenching. I only saw her with tears in her eyes a few times, other than that she was the true definition of numb. My heart hurt so badly seeing her so broken, which is absolutely understandable. All I could think about is what I could do for her and I remembered about The Giving Keys. My key says "Embrace," but I didn't think that was the right message for her. I ordered her a key that has "Strength" engraved on one side, and has "Blake," her son's name, engraved on the other.
I can't wait to give it to her.
