My Story

Three years ago my mom suddenly died from an accident. It was, and still is, the worst experience I have ever endured. My best friend had also not lost her mother suddenly, but lost her father suddenly just 4 years later.

Her aunt gave her a giving key labeled "COURAGE". Ashley paid it forward to me when my mom had passed away. Now, three years later, my friend lost her 19 year brother a few months ago. She has had to develop a whole new way of life, that I unfortunately understand all too well.

For her birthday, I am paying forward the Giving Key that I received to give some hope that despite this world of terrible losses, courage can get us through it.
