My Story

Last Christmas I gave my boss a giving key bracelet. Strength. She is born on Christmas so it’s an extra special day, and that holiday season she happened to be having a surgery.

Fast forward to today, I had to left my job abruptly, with the full support of my boss as it was promotion. In my exit interview among other things she shared with me that when she had her surgery it was the lowest point in her life. And that the bracelet was like receiving a pot of gold.

She said it got her through a traumatic time and she always makes sure she has it. I love the giving keys mission; this company that was created impacts so many and in ways you might not always hear, and I didn’t know that what I gave her was as meaningful to to her until now. We never know what someone is facing!
