Connecting Through Keys

I was an eighteen-year-old mom who came from an abusive, alcoholic home. I had my beautiful daughter Desiree when I was eighteen and married my husband at that same age. We have now been married thirty-five years this year. We grew up together, raising that precious angel who I feel saved my life and made me a better person. Desiree gave me my key a few years ago to tell me she thought I was the strongest person she knew. I work with a woman named Sarah. She has had some health issues and just some unfortunate life issues but remains the nicest, happiest person to work with, which amazes me. I see her struggles, and she is Fearless – I gave her the key today, told her the story, and we cried together. It was a wonderful feeling to give it to her and let her know I was thinking of her. In a world that is set up for disconnecting, your keys allow us to connect, and it is wonderful!
