Courage During Loss

I bought a key for myself with the word COURAGE and thought I wouldn’t find someone to give it to, but then a very special couple in my life found out that the husband had a brain tumor. I knew I had the person to give it to. I gave it to my wonderful friend's wife so that she would have the COURAGE to handle this diagnosis.

After all the tests and everything were done, it was found that the tumor was benign but inoperable - they would be able to keep it from growing with radiation and he should live a long happy life! When they heard the good news, the next day my friends attended a funeral of a young man who died of cancer at 46 with four kids. My friend then knew then that she would pass on the COURAGE key to the youngest teenage daughter who was distraught over the loss of her father and best friend. They truly are Giving Keys!
