My daughter gave me the Fearless key two years ago when I was diagnosed with Graves Disease and underwent a total thyroidectomy.
Today I paid it forward to a dear friend who will soon undergo a double mastectomy due to a second round of breast cancer. She accepted the key with gratitude and it warmed my heart to see her wear it.
I hope it gives her some comfort and bravery as she faces her upcoming surgery. We women are tough when we are faced with life's challenges. Sentiments such as this, help to encourage us in our journeys.
It's a special little key.
