March 29, 2013 my husband of 16 years, died of cystic fibrosis. He was 43. I am a teacher, and another teacher at my school gifted me a key that said Grace. She said she thought I was handling my loss with such grace. That touched my heart. Her son was in my class, so her words and gift meant even more to me.
I thought I would never be able to part with the key, but I've done a lot of healing this past year. So recently, a friend of mine was facing one of the most difficult times in her life, and I felt God leading me to share the key with her. When I passed it along, she was very touched. It made the gift even more special to me.
