I received a Giving Key necklace on Christmas 2017, from my sister-in-law. As I was about to enter a new phase in my life as an "empty nester," she chose the word FAITH to remind me that we will all not only survive, but flourish in this new journey.
I have worn it every day since 12/25/17 until today. A co-worker, wife and mother of two young boys had just been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. I placed my necklace around her neck, and told her that no matter what lies ahead, to have FAITH in herself, that she too will survive to be an "empty nester" someday.
