I received the COURAGE key on my 47th birthday night 20 days ago. I was in the shelter system between Miami, Manhattan and Harlem from 2012 until 2013. Today I’m living in a transitional housing program in my own one bed room apartment in the Lower East Side of Manhattan!
My living situation journey is getting better thanks to social support services and my Higher Power. I have found the person I’ll “pass the key on” but I must wait about 6 month more for the “transitional ritual.”
