Hannah Jenae x The Giving Keys #TheTrueGift

In one word, what do you think is the true gift of the holidays?

Connection.

Why do you think human connection is so important in the world today?

Oh gosh! I think human connection is so important nowadays because it's so easy to not be present. Between work, social media, current events, and so much more, it's easy to get distracted or be checked out, so I think undivided attention and human connection - being present - is a really beautiful gift.

What word is on your key? What does it mean to you?

My word is STRENGTH. Strength reminds me of all that I have conquered - not only the physical but the mental too. It also reminds me to continue being strong. There is a long road ahead of me full of unknowns, and no doubt it will, at times, make me question my worth, my place, and my capability. However, when I am reminded of all that I have achieved, I can dig deep, and find that same strength to stand up to the challenge.

Tell us the story of how you have passed on your key or how you plan to pass it on.

I haven't passed on my key yet, and I think that's because I still need the reminder. But I do plan to pass my key on when I meet someone who also needs to be reminded of their incredible strength.
