My dear friend gave me a FEARLESS key last week for my birthday. She has helped me through the tragedies of losing my Mom, my husband and my baby to illness. I loved the beautiful key and had planned to place it on my keychain until the occasion that I felt would be appropriate for paying it forward.
That occasion came 5 days later. I was invited to a dinner celebration for a friend who was celebrating 1000 days of sobriety. The key went back into the box in which it was received, wrapped up in sparkling gold paper and tied with a pink bow. It was wonderful to hand it to the next FEARLESS soul in my life. I know that it will be passed on to many that are in recovery–it makes my heart sing.
