My Story
Years ago (like probably 8 or 9) my best friend from high school gave me a Giving Key necklace for my birthday with the word Love on it. We were both moms to toddlers and that was my introduction to Giving Keys.
That key was beautiful and I recognized it when I went to a women’s retreat called If Gathering and people on the screens I was watching were also wearing beautiful Giving Key necklaces like the one I had been given. I wore that necklace and answered questions about its meaning for several years.
I fought my kiddos over keeping it for myself versus them wanting it to be theirs. I never forgot the story about how it was made by people coming in off the streets and how I was supposed to embrace the word and then pass it along when I felt it was time.
Fast forward to about 18 months ago and it was time, so I gave my Love necklace to one of my other very best friends in the world who is fast approaching her 40s and has watched friend after friend and family member after family member get married and start families and has yet to find a special Love for herself.
She gives love to those around her so generously, yet hasn’t found a special love for herself. I Love her, so it just made sense to me to pass my necklace along to her. A few months ago I found myself missing my Giving Key accessory and found one on your website that I wanted to buy for myself this time. This key is the Jeremiah 29:11 key which has special meaning for me and my life and which felt appropriate for this stage of my life.
I have added my own special touch to this necklace by adding a “broken” earring from Noonday Collection that I also loved and couldn’t part with. I attached a photo of that for you to see.
