I received my giving key from my IPF friend, Mike Olsen. I have just recently been diagnosed with IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) a non curable terminal lung disease. Idiopathic means they don't know how we got it as neither of us smoked! My friend is currently waiting for a double lung transplant, but in the meantime he is on oxygen 24/7, and we hope and pray he gets his new lungs soon.
I went to visit him and his wife this past weekend and he gave me my key and said he got it from his family and he was passing it on to me as I'm just beginning my IPF journey.

We may not look sick but we are slowly dying on the inside as it literally takes your breath away!! IPF is rare and little know of the disease and we, all IPF Warriors, as we call ourselves, are doing everything we can to bring awareness, but we need help!
