"Komera:" Be Strong

After visiting Rwanda, the thing I was most moved by was their strength. "Komera" is a greeting there; however, it translates to "Be strong."

I've worn this key for years, but today my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The strongest man I've ever known now needs it more than I do. In the midst of the shock and sadness, being able to give this to my dad and share the story behind it made me feel better.

He promised to wear it every day. Incase he forgets or feels like giving up, he has a daily reminder to be strong. Komera Papa Bear. We love you.
