I received a key bracelet with the word INSPIRE on it from a good friend on my 30th birthday.
For the past 5 years, it has been my mission to provide warmth, love, care and inspiration to the vast homeless populations in Los Angeles and neighboring cities. I created a blanket drive I call Love is a Warm Blanket, where I collect donations of blankets and distribute to those I encounter on the streets during Winter months. Besides providing warmth to the less fortunate and especially those that sleep outdoors, my drive turned into an opportunity for me to connect with these beautiful souls, provide my love and care, and most importantly leave them with inspiration and hope that homelessness is only a situation and not their identity.
My key bracelet reminds me and encourages me to continue this work and continue inspiring this vulnerable population.
