My Story
Inside the Be Kind Box by Ellen is a #thegivingkeys necklace with the words BE KIND. I've been pretty kind to myself lately and feel so blessed in life. Embracing the words Be Kind is a way of life that I try to live by daily. When arriving home from a benefit last night for a man who I didn't know and hearing his legacy of food, drink, art, and most importantly, mentorship was topped off by coming home to Ellen's Be Kind Box and the #givingkeys necklace inside.
Who needs this more than me, I was asked. My dearest friend came to mind first. She has overcome four significant losses in her 60 years of life. Despite these tragedies and most recent struggles, she remains a steady strength to all who know her. Her work ethic leaves little time to enjoy the pleasures of life.
However, NOT THIS WEEKEND! Her friends, who she has many of, are celebrating her 60th birthday over a girls' night out dinner, and I will give her, not only this meaning full #thegivingkeys necklace but the entire Be Kind Box by Ellen. She is one of my best friends, and I know she will love this necklace and its representation.
