My Story
It is almost miraculous how you came into my life. I've had anxiety since I was a kid - for as long as I remember, really - and I came across the Giving Keys from my work with a small business in Kansas City. I am a technical writer for a pest control company, and I attended the Trainual Playbook event a few weeks ago.
Because of that event, I looked into your keys, and I found one that I felt was best for my situation - a red "Fearless" key. I am still trying to fight it, and each day feels like I am getting better, and I want to thank you. I haven't given away my key yet, and I don't expect to give it away any time soon because I know that this is a long process, but I want to thank you because I feel like I am getting better. Your company came along during a really rough time in my life - during a break up, and during a time of transitioning out of the house we recently moved into - and, as silly as it sounds, your key has helped me a lot during this process.
I am getting back into the world, and it is scary, but because of you it is easier. I hope that I am able to give my key to my mother when I feel like I've strengthened myself up, because I know she needs the help as well. So, thank you. Thank you for helping me during this really difficult part of my life. Your story, and your mission, and your keys, they have inspired me, and I am so thankful for that.
