Second Chances

On January 11, 2015, I entered the hospital with a rare stroke, and later my heart and breathing stopped for a little over two minutes. By the grace of God and a great medical staff, I was brought back and given a second chance at life. On the year anniversary of the "episode" (as my family calls it), they gave me the Breathe Giving Key as a reminder of the miracle that I had experienced. Today, January 1, 2017, I am paying it forward to the wife of a friend who was in a motorcycle accident and miraculously survived. She has been by his side constantly ( I mean 24 hours a day, 24/7) through months at the hospital and months of rehab. They were able to come home right before Christmas and are still going through outpatient rehabilitation. I want them to have my Giving Key as a reminder of the miracles and second chances at life that we both have been given by God.
