I received my Giving Key necklace as a gift from our church's "Mom's Connect" group with the word SHINE inscribed on it. Upon receiving it, I immediately thought of a favorite Bible verse: Matthew 5:16 "Let your light SHINE before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your father who is in heaven." For nearly two years, the key has been a reminder to me to SHINE His light into the lives of others.
Today, I have gifted this key to a dear friend, Stephanie, who is blessed with the ability to SHINE and has been a valued mentor to me. She has continued to SHINE even through the challenge of fighting breast cancer over the past year. Stephanie, you know how to SHINE. That's just the way you are! God bless you!
