I received the Giving Keys as a graduation gift last year. While I held onto them for a while, I am now passing them on to a friend, as I feel she needs them more than I do right now.
However, I didn't just want to give the keys away, I wanted to give encouragement and love with it. I decided to start a notebook where each recipient of the Keys, can write an encouraging message to the next person to receive them. As the Keys get passed on, so does the notebook of optimistic messages.
I wanted my Giving Key story to spread some love. In a world that seems to continually tear us down, we've got to build each other up. Perhaps one of the best ways to conquer our own mountains, is to give. Give love, give a hand, give encouragement. Because one day someone will GIVE to you when you need it most.
